RE: 32 inch wiper blades

I purchased a replacement set for my 2004 Holiday Rambler Admiral from NAPA. These are 26 inch and I believe I paid around $18 for the set.
The model number from NAPA was 60-2610 and it is NAPA s brand of Fleet Edge.
You are probably looking for model number 60-3210.
Good luck

RE: 32 inch wiper blades

Here is a link for determining the proper replacement blade for Class A's. pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-covers/truvision-class%20-a.htm
Once you get the right number...Napa can cross reference and usually order it from their distribution center.

RE: About right

I would park the rig on the leeward side of a building to protect it from the wind.
In California we just have to worry about little ol earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados etc., scare me to death.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a company in Southern California who can install new flooring in our class A that has 2 slides?
Thanks,

RE: Bad salesmen

Another dealer I would recommend is www.demartini.com. They do deal in used units and have dealerships both in Grass Valley, CA and Elkhart, Indiana.
Good luck

RE: MH Fires whats the cause?

We had a 2003 Holiday Rambler Admiral on a Workhorse W-22 chassis. Gas.
The fire started when a fuel line ruptured and sprayed fuel across the hot engine. The coach was 11 days old.
We replaced that coach with a 2004 same brand, model and style. There was a recall for this coach...the bracket holding the fuel line in place at the engine had not been properly "hardened". It took less than 10 minutes to replace this part at the dealer under the recall.

RE: Warranty work Rant

Sometimes it is a good idea to get an attorney involved to speed things up. Othertimes it may slow things down. I would start looking for a Consumer law attorney that understands the "lemon Law". You know know. A letter from an attorney may spped things up.
I recommend you use www.handleonthelaw.com to do a search for an attorney.

RE: Windsport Lemon

It may be too late...but I would look for a attorney who has experience with Auto Lemon Law. A few hunred bucks would be worth it for peace of mind.

RE: Overnight stop 6 + or - hours north of L.A. on I-5.

We like to stay at the RV park at Santa Nella, CA. We have also stayed at Kettleman City. The Almond Tree RV Park is ok but alot of monthlies that kinda overtook the park. All of these were fine for 1 night.

RE: Camping in the snow for the first time, any advice?

We go to Mammoth Mountain skiing every year. We use the campground showers and only use the balck water holding tank and limited use of the grey tank so the grey tank will not freeze solid. Use the water hose only to fill the water holding tank. Ours is inside and I keep the cabinets open for the warm air to get to the water lines.
The fresh water hose is kept inside.
Our furnace is all that we use. I have had to use chains 3 times with no problems.

RE: Oregon Coast

Lots of incredibel scenery and sites to visit...Tillamook County Creamery is a must stop...The cheese omelettes are awesome, the Ice Cream is delicious and the cheese burgers are great.
Look for the kite festivals and check out sites to see in each little town. It is not uncommon the break camp early and enjoy breakfast in a nearby scenic overlook.

RE: Crazy Horse R.V. Park, Lake Havasu, AZ

Assuming the credit card chargeback does not work you willned to take him to small claims court in Arizona. Alot of courst will allow you to fill out the paperwork over the internet.
Go ahead and fill out the paperwork for Small Claims Court and then fax it over to the campground with a cover letter stating that you will not file if you get your refund in 10 days. If the 10 days pass then go ahead and file.

RE: Dealer Service Nightmare---HELP

I had problems with our local dealer...timely but not correctly repaired. Finally I took our Holiday Rambler up to Monaco's Oregon repair facility...all I can say is wow, what an outstanding job.
As far as the ride. You will need to have the coach weighed at all 4 corners and then adjust the tire pressure accordingly. If still a problem it may need to have better shocks put on. On ours, workhorse upgraded the shocks for no cost.

I agree with Bumpyroad, remember it is the TAX CODE that determines the rule, not the banks policy or wrong opinion.

RE: Snow chains on which wheels

The reason you should not put wheels on just the front is that when you brake the brakes only apply on the front wheels unless you brake hard.
When you apply the front brakes with chains then the back of the vehicle will loose traction causing the vehicle to spine from the back. That is why some states, like Idaho, will not allow studded snow tires on only the front of the vehicle but mandate on all 4.

RE: Snow chains on Dual Class A motorhome

When chaining up YOU WILL GET WET. I wear my ski pants to stay dry.
I have a set from Les Schwab and I do not need to raise the coach. I just drape them over the tires but I do need to lay down to connect the two links.
I carry a piece of astro turf to lay on.
Do not exceed 25 to 30 mph.
